Power produced in this plant can be evacuated to State Electricity Board of Karnataka State i.e. Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited. Since there is ever increasing demand for Power, the State / Central Governments are encouraging the Power plants by Biomass. The power generated will be evacuated to the KPTCL and the Company will lay dedicated lines to the Sub Station. Since the cost of power generated is very competitive, the Company can offer to the third parties also at a very competitive rate. KPTCL has signed POWER PURCHASE AGREEMENT with the Company for a period twelve years initially at a price of Rs. 2.85 per unit with escalation of 2% every year.
