Land Approximately 12 – 15 acres of land with adequate water availability of 50 – 70 cu.m/hr approximately, is required for project for construction of administrative buildings, water reservoir and storage yard, etc. The land should be well connected by road and nearby to a river, canal etc or should have adequate water resources. The Company has purchased 10 Acres of Land under Survey No. 152 and 152C of Gadvanti Village , Humnabad Taluk and obtained specific approval from Government of Karnataka to set up the plant in the private lands. Another 10 acres are going to be procured. Buildings The buildings will comprise main plant consisting of equipment like Boiler, Turbine etc. Administrative and Utility Buildings , Water reservoir, Storage yard, Sub station etc. Availability of Biomass There is about 434,828 MTS of Biomass yield is available in the District of Bidar and Surplus is about 337,774 MTS which has Power Generation capacity of about 34 MW. The company can get the required biomass of 75,000 MTS per annum comfortably well within 5 km radius. Plant And Machinery The capacity of the plant is 7.50 MW. The Biomass is fed in to the multi-fuel boiler by conveyor system, which converts the heat energy and produces the steam. The steam is used with turbo generator for producing power and the following are the major equipment: The steam turbine coupled with an electric generator, which converts the mechanical energy into electrical energy. This power is stepped up with all protection systems. Power required to operate the plant equipment will be supplied by step down transformer. The Main Units Of The Power Plant Are
